Personal information

When you post a review with JobAdvisor you’re also registering as a member in order to gain access to more information and services. We collect the personal information that you provide, including your email address, current or past employment information, salary information and other information including your personal opinion about your current or past employer. All information is used for the purposes of providing site users with information about your current or previous employment. Steps are taken to ensure that individual reviews will not be personally identifiable and all reviews are anonymous. Anonymity is a key aspect of this site and we take it very seriously. We reserve the right (at our sole and absolute discretion and at any time) to suspend or delete a member’s account, or to remove any review.

IP Addresses

Our web servers record the IP address of all site visitors in order to assist our team in resolving technical problems or other site issues. The data we collect is aggregated, which means in general it cannot be traced to an individual site user.

Website traffic

JobAdvisor collects information on website visits, including (but not limited to) which sections of the site are most frequently visited, how often they are visited and the period of time viewed. As a registered user, you can change, update or delete your reviews at any time by signing into the site.

Email communications

From time to time we may provide you with career information in our email newsletter. This free service is sent to registered users and you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link contained within the email message. JobAdvisor may also make you aware of new or changed features, products and services from time to time.

Partners & advertisers

We provides links and pass online job applications or expressions of interest to third party users (such as employers). The use of your information by these third parties is not within the control of JobAdvisor and we cannot accept responsibility for the conduct of these companies.

From time to time, we may review and update this privacy statement. The latest version of this policy will always be updated on the site and we encourage you to review this page regularly to ensure you are aware of the latest version of this policy.
